Weekly Cohort meetings
Each residents will meet together for two hours for encouragement, evaluation, and instruction.

Every month experts in different aspects of church planting will be brought in to equip each cohort.

There will be weekly readings and monthly assignments as residents prepare to plant in their context.

Hands On Experience
Residents will be plugged into a local church plant to receive practical hands on experience that will serve as a critical component of best practices to utilize in their context.
HOW YOU WILL TRAIN
More than just book knowledge, in the Residency you’ll gain the practical experience you need to succeed bylearning theR.O.P.E.S.
Research: Investigate your target community and begin exegeting the culture
Observe: Observe and participate in ministry in your local church congregation. Visit New Life Christian Church (a church planting church) and other regional church plants.
Present: Present and discuss your God-given vision and strategies with your peers and mentors. Preach your Opening Day sermon, too.
Evaluate: Evaluate the feedback you get. Evaluate the new ideas and differing approaches of the others in the cohort.
Support: Support your peers and be supported as you embark on your planting journey.

OUTCOMES
Apprentices and residents will:
Be plugged into a new church plant during the residency allowing them to get hands on experience.
Attend a weekly resident meeting (2 Hours).
Assemble a church planting team.
Complete weekly reading/media assignments.
Prepare a comprehensive plan for the new church.
Remain faithful, available and teachable throughout the process.
Receive intensive monthly training from topic experts.
Develop the skills and experience to plant a successful, multiplying Apostolic church.
